In April I focussed on refreshment. I thought I would blog about it more, but instead it turned into a little message that sat in the back of my head reminding me to seize the moment to take a break when the opportunity was there. Sometimes it took more effort to add in a little break but some of those efforts became a new habit and then became an effortless part of my day.
What are some of the things I did in April?
- Walked guide dogs on my lunch break
- Took a lunch break and made sure I went outside during my breaks everyday
- I managed to fit in a couple of swims
- Had an emergency pedicure
- Rested when I was home while Bee napped
After about three weeks I no longer needed to eat Nutella out of the jar every night. I seemed to have just a little more energy.
Now we are in May. May is going to be all about boldly saying yes and saying no without a ton of hemming, hawing or fretting in between. There is going to be all kinds of stuff going down family wise, work wise and just life in general. I want to have a great month and I think the way to do that is to jump into what is right for me and what I have energy for and turn down the rest guilt free.
My aim is what ever I am doing is to do it boldly. I will see where boldly takes me.
